Vine & Dine – A New Beginning

Get Involved

On Thursday, November 4, 2021, Ability Connection will host its 13th annual Vine & Dine event at The Hall on Dragon. This “can’t-miss-event” is the launch to Ability Connection’s critical New Beginning campaign to raise funds to serve even more people with disabilities. The 2021 Vine and Dine event will be an inspired evening highlighting Annemarie Carrigan. Annemarie is a young millennial woman with Down Syndrome living independently in Dallas. She is a graduate of Highland Park High School and the University of Central Missouri’s Thrive Program and currently has her dream job working for Dupree Miller & Associates.

We are thrilled to co-chair Ability Connection’s Vine & Dine to raise funds for their mission of enriching the lives of people with disabilities…one person at a time. Your support will go directly to providing essential care, training, and residential services for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.

Co Chairs ~ Kara Sewell & Kimber Westphall Clonts

My Aunt Penny had an intellectual disability. Penny could not speak; growing up I watched my grandmother strive to ensure she was treated with dignity and respect. Having a voice is important for everyone. It’s a privilege to support Ability Connection as they work to help men and women with disabilities live full and meaningful lives. -Kara Sewell

I’ve always had a heart for the special needs community, as I’ve been positively impacted by several individuals throughout my life. I’m excited to be part of this event to shine a light on the mission of Ability Connection and all the lives they enhance and influence each day! -Kimber Westphall Clonts
