Our adult training center is a licensed Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS) program that enriches the lives of people with intellectual and physical disabilities through comprehensive, life-changing care, training, and supports. We learn the goals of each of our adult members, facilitate the supports and services needed to support their goals, measure the success of our program, and evaluate the overall satisfaction of our members. Throughout our services, we are purposeful about infusing member choice whenever possible.
Our Main Campus – The training center facility includes multiple classrooms, a fulfillment room, a fitness room, a sensory room, and a therapy room for our therapist partners to conveniently provide physical, occupational, and speech therapies for our members.
Our programs include a full schedule of training, education, community activities, recreation, music, art, exercise, and volunteer opportunities throughout the week.
Our programming is designed to support adults with all levels of need, including:
- Our LIFE CHANGE Classroom is designed for individuals who are looking for increased independence, work skills development and continued academic growth.
- The IMPACT and WELLNESS Classrooms serve individuals who focus more on their personal growth goals, socialization, community inclusion, recreation, and leisure activities.
- The FOCUS Classroom serves individuals for whom the life impact of their disability is most significant. This classroom focuses on daily care, sensory experiences, and hand-over-hand assistance.
