C.O.R.E. Skills Camps – Partnership with Potter’s House

Ability Connection announces its new partnership with Potter’s House to bring C.O.R.E. Skills Camps to children in Dallas County with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With four dates and four different locations, these camps are designed to help lessen the “summer slide.”

The C.O.R.E. The skills camp facilitators, in cooperation with the program sponsors, support the use of appropriate accommodations and reinforces familiar concepts presented in the general education classroom and at home. The camp provides support in the areas of communication (verbal and non-verbal), socialization, and general life skills.
