Respite Care and School Holiday Programs for Teens

Ability Connection is committed to helping families who care for teens with disabilities (ages 12-17 years old) residing in Dallas County.

Camp Connections Respite – Care Giver Relief

Starting Friday May 7th, the Care Giver Relief program, otherwise known as “respite“ will occur every first & third Fridays (6pm-10pm) and second & fourth Saturdays (9am-2pm) of each month.

The program will take place at our main campus at 8802 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, 75235. Teenagers will enjoy games and other fun activities in a safe environment allowing their caregivers and families a well-deserved break.

Camp Connections School Holiday Program

Ability Connection recognizes the challenges working families with a child with a disability have finding appropriate care on school holidays. Beginning Fall of 2021, Ability Connection will host a School Holiday program on our main campus. Teens from 12-17 will enjoy a day of fun and activities while families are at work. The program will take place on holidays observed by Dallas County school districts calendars.
