For children ages 10-17 with intellectual or other developmental disabilities
Must live in Dallas County to receive financial assistance and discounts (made possible by a generous grant from Crystal Charity Ball)

Ability Connection will provide a comprehensive, meaningful summer program designed for tweens and teenagers with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 10-17. This program will run on a full-day block schedule led by certified special education instructors, focusing on improving educational, vocational, and social skills in a safe and enriching environment.
Afterschool Program
EPIC Afterschool
Ability Connection Youth Services believes students with disabilities should have the same access to quality and enriching programs as their fully-abled peers. Our afterschool programs are focused on providing tools to youth with disabilities to aide them in discovering purpose, possibilities, and pathways to an intentional future. EPIC curricula are full of activities which Engage them, Prepare them for future endeavors, Introduce social and behavioral skills, and Create social goals. We have partnered with Dallas County school districts and agencies to ensure purposeful learning in a fun and safe environment. Be it life skills, social skills, prevocational skills, or behavioral skills, EPIC bases its curriculum design on what the schools desire.

Coppell ISD – Coppell High School
Dallas ISD – Ann Richards Middle, J.L. Long Middle, and Billy M. Dade
START DATES:
Coppell – October 17, 2022
Dallas – February 6, 2023
SCHEDULE:
Coppell – Tuesdays and Thursdays
Dallas – Mondays and Wednesdays at J.L. Long; Tuesdays and Thursdays at Richards and Dade
